BVA Live Celebrates Five Years of Bringing the Veterinary Community Together
Celebrating five years of bringing the veterinary community together, BVA Live 2026 delivered two days of high-quality CPD, hands-on learning, networking and innovation for the profession.
This milestone edition featured an expanded conference programme delivered by 174 renowned speakers, including the introduction of a third Clinical Theatre, the launch of the IDEXX Advanced Diagnostics Theatre and hands-on workshops delivered by Burtons Veterinary Equipment. Delegates also heard from internationally renowned keynote speaker Professor David Maggs from the University of California.
The show also saw the launch of the BSAVA Clinical Research Abstracts Theatre, delivered in partnership with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association. The new theatre showcased emerging clinical research and innovations shaping the future of veterinary medicine, alongside poster presentations displayed throughout the two-day event.
The BVA Interactive Zone returned with thought-provoking discussions on the key issues shaping the profession. The BVNA Nursing Theatre once again provided dedicated content for veterinary nurses, and the Wellbeing Hub offered practical support and resources for delegates throughout the event.
At the heart of the show, 141 exhibitors showcased the latest products, services and technologies designed to support veterinary practices and improve patient care.
The anniversary celebrations continued at the Summer Social, where attendees came together to connect with colleagues and celebrate five years of BVA Live.
"Celebrating the fifth edition of BVA Live made this year's event particularly special. It was fantastic to see the industry come together once again to learn, connect and explore the latest innovations shaping the profession. I would like to thank our delegates, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners for helping make BVA Live 2026 such a success, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027." Said Aidan Gibbs, Event Director.
BVA President Dr Rob Williams MRCVS said: “It’s fantastic to see BVA Live continue to grow at pace and it’s now a ‘must do’ on the veterinary calendar. This year we not only brought the highest quality CPD, but we convened some of the most influential names from across the veterinary, animal welfare and public sectors including Martin Coleman, chair of the CMA’s investigation into vet services. It provided delegates with unique opportunity to speak directly to Martin, to raise their concerns as we enter the crucial final stages of the investigation process. It’s this convening power of BVA and BVA Live that sets it apart from other shows.”
Reflecting on the success of the anniversary edition, BVA Live reinforced its position as one of the UK's leading veterinary events, providing a platform for knowledge-sharing, innovation and meaningful collaboration across the profession.
We look forward to opening our doors once again on 11-12 March 2027. For more information and updates, visit bvalive.vetshow.com
