BVA Live selected for launch of new industry survey.
Provet Cloud, supplier of specialist, cloud-based Practice Management Software, is inviting veterinary professionals to take part in a new research project investigating technology adoption in UK veterinary practices. The research will be carried out via an online survey and will gather information on current levels of digital adoption by UK vets, including their attitudes towards technology and how it benefits their practice.
The survey will be open throughout July and the results will be published in a comprehensive report in September. Complimentary tickets to the London Vet Show and an iPad Air will be awarded to participants in a prize draw when the survey closes.
The research was prompted by the results of a short poll of veterinary professionals conducted by Provet Cloud at the BSAVA Congress in March. This indicated low adoption rates for digital tools and a strong bias towards server-based practice management software over cloud-based.
Scott Goodsir-Smyth, General Manager of Provet Cloud UK said, “We were surprised by the results from our poll, which indicated less than a third of UK practices use cloud-based Practice Management Systems. We wanted to dig deeper into this finding and investigate further how far along the adoption curve UK vets are when it comes to technology. Our research will provide a snapshot of current digital maturity, against which vets will be able to benchmark their own position. It will also help them identify ways in which they can ‘go digital’ or accelerate their digital journey”’.
The survey will take 10 minutes to complete and all participants will be entered into a prize draw. Participants have the chance to win one of 15 tickets to the 2022 London Vet Show, including the full CPD conference stream or the main prize of an iPad Air.
