Forte Healthcare Supports Veterinary Teams with New Canine Behaviour Month Initiative

Forte Healthcare Supports Veterinary Teams with New Canine Behaviour Month Initiative
Canine Behaviour Month
Veterinary practices can access free educational resources and tailored support throughout June
Forte Healthcare has introduced Canine Behaviour Month, a new educational initiative designed to encourage greater awareness, education and conversation around behaviour in first-opinion veterinary practice.

Running throughout June, veterinary practices can access a dedicated online learning hub featuring 13 on-demand webinars from leading experts in veterinary behaviour, alongside a live webinar on 15 June presented by renowned veterinary behaviourist Dr Katrin Jahn, DrMedVet, CertVA, MANZCVS (Veterinary Behaviour), DACVB, DipECAWBM (BM), MRCVS, RCVS & EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Behavioural Medicine.

The live webinar, titled "An Introduction to Psychopharmacology – One Puzzle Piece of the Veterinary Behaviour Treatment Plan", will explore the role of behavioural medicine within a broader treatment approach and provide practical insights for veterinary teams.

The Canine Behaviour Month website also features an interactive "Where Are You on the Behaviour Journey?" assessment tool, designed to help practices identify their current educational needs and quickly access relevant educational support.

By answering four simple questions, practices can assess their current stage within the behaviour journey and arrange a follow-up appointment with their local Forte Territory Manager, who can tailor educational support to their specific needs.

Veterinary professionals attending BVA Live 2026 are invited to visit the Forte Healthcare stand to learn more about Canine Behaviour Month, discuss behaviour cases with the team and discover the educational resources available through the programme.

For more information about Canine Behaviour Month and to access the educational resources available throughout June, visit the Canine Behaviour Month website or speak to the Forte Healthcare team at BVA Live.

Forte Healthcare is the marketing authorisation holder of Reconcile®, the first licensed fluoxetine for dogs.
