Simply ruling out cancer with HTVista

Simply ruling out cancer with HTVista

The HTVista by HTVET is the first imaging device that allows veterinarians to rule out cancer on the spot, using a non-invasive test.

Traditionally, identifying and classifying dermal and subcutaneous masses in dogs is a time-consuming, invasive, and expensive process, involving sending biopsy results to the lab for analysis. As a result, ruling out cancer takes longer, leading to significant pet owner distress, and treatment in the case of a cancer diagnosis is unduly delayed. Not anymore.

HTVet is turning the traditional dog diagnosis paradigm on its head, with HTVista, the first-ever fast, easy-to-use, and non-invasive device that rules out cancer in dermal and subcutaneous masses in dogs, which you can use, from the comfort of your clinic. With HTVista in hand, you can scan, analyze, and obtain a highly reliable diagnosis, in a matter of minutes.

Our technology is based on Heat Diffusion Imaging (HDI). The underlying principle behind HDI is that normal and malignant tissues display different heat transfer rates. This is due to their differences in composition, metabolism, tissue morphology, and vascular networks, which affect their thermophysical properties.

Any mass that can be palpated can be scanned. During the scan, the tissue is heated and left to cool down. The dog barely feels the test, which takes less than a minute to perform.

Signals are then collected and sent to our digital lab in the cloud. The data is then processed by signal analysis, computer vision, and AI methods.

HTVista delivers accurate results within minutes. When the test generates an NPV of above 98%, it means that there is a 98% chance that the tumor is benign.

This makes it a great screening tool, one that spares the need for invasive procedures as the first course of care. HTVista saves a lot of time, money, and inconvenience - for the dog and its owner.

HTVista is already in the market and sold by various distributors worldwide. We invite you to come and learn more about the device and its technology at BVA Live, booth #A75.
